Keep in mind, the PCR test is more accurate, as it detects the virus at different stages, whereas the Antigen test only detects the virus when you are in the infectious stage. Option 1 Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Testing Cost-$75 (Out of Pocket) Same day results Billing to Insurance is not applicable Appointment required Schedule a Rapid Antigen Test here We utilize the BD Veritor Rapid Antigen Test for processing. For more information regarding the BD Veritor Rapid Antigen Test, see the FDA’s Fact sheet here. Some, but not all destinations will accept these tests for travel. Check with your airline/destination. Results in approximately 15-20 minutes. Scheduling, testing, processing, and results are performed and reported to patients directly from Hyde Drug Store same-day. Please arrive at the drive-thru at the time of your appointment to make payment and for further instructions. This test is appropriate if needing to detect infection soon after exposure to determine if isolation is necessary. We utilize the Accula SARS-COV-2 PCR Test for processing. Also known as a molecular diagnostic test Results in approximately 2 hours and is more sensitive than a rapid antigen test. Accepted for most types of travel including the U.S.-Canadian border. Check with your airline/destination to ensure it is accepted. The Hydes began a tradition of personal service for their patients that continued through 2 more sets of owners until Pharmacist George Stefanis purchased the business. George is a 1978 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He continues to maintain the level of personal service created by the Hydes.
